The Toughness and Gentleness design, created by Jia Ru Chen, is a remarkable residential project that beautifully blends dignity and coziness. Inspired by the house owner's preference for a dignified and conservative style, this design fills the room with a sense of sophistication and warmth.

What sets this design apart is the meticulous attention to detail that reflects the host's preferences in every corner. From the choice of materials to the color palette, every element is carefully curated to create a cozy and aesthetically pleasing living space.

The television wall, for example, features a seamless imported thin marble tile, adding a touch of elegance and luxury. The open space is divided into different zones, including the living room, bar, dining room, and study, each subtly distinguished through materials, colors, and flooring.

With a total area of 82.6 square meters, this design showcases a warm modern style predominantly in ink-like black, white, and grey colors. Integrated warm-colored light strips, mirrored surfaces, and glass elements further enhance the spaciousness of the space, creating an inviting atmosphere.

Environmental protection and sustainability were also important considerations in this design. The use of eco-friendly materials, such as Lotos plaster for the corridor walls and thin marble tile for the television wall, demonstrates the designer's commitment to creating a pollution-free and unique living environment.

One of the design challenges was to maximize artistic display space in the living room while maintaining a low-profile yet luxurious aesthetic. The dual-circulation layout between the living room and study, as well as the cabinet with sliding doors, adds practical functionality that aligns with the users' living habits.

The Toughness and Gentleness design is a testament to the designer's ingenuity and attention to detail. By deviating from conventional design layouts and incorporating green materials and spatial details, this residential space is truly astonishing.
